Happy Birthday Dylan and Ethan!!!

So now that it's mid-September, I'm finally trying to update what happened in August!! I'm so trying to keep up on my life but it's been extremely hectic, so a month past-due is what you're gonna get. :) Anyway, our guys turned 5 and 7 in August!!!

Ethan turned five on the 15th--his day started with a birthday party with some of his friends. They played birthday bingo and pin the nose on the clown.
Then we headed to Lagoon!!! It was Ceci's first time, and we had a blast. The majority of the day we spent in Lagoona Beach. Ceci couldn't get enough of the water and plowed right through the little kiddie area. Then we rode the rides, and she jsut chilled. She never gets scared, and she seems to enjoy it--she grabs the wheel and tries to drive. It's so fun to have a child to put on the kiddie rides!

So Ethan is our little delight that makes us laugh every day. Ryan call shim his little struggler because he frequently puts his clothes on backward and inside out and is jsut a cute happy easy going little guy. He plays so good by himself and is easily entertained. He LOVES cheese (just kidding, he hates it, but we love to tease him and say we'll put extra cheese on his food). What he really loves is Cecily. He always asks when she's gonna wake up so he can play with her. He shares his toys and lets her hit him in the face--in fact both boys do. They are both so good with her and She loves all the attention.

We love little Efan and his cute voice and funny things he says, and most of all his awesome strugglingness.

Dylan's birthday was on the 7th, and we had a fun birthday party with the family. I had a birthday sign up when he woke up--and his mom came over and made breakfast for him. Then they all went swimming and we had a BBQ at my parent's/adam and denise's house. Dylan is such a grown-up little seven-year-old. He is so intelligent, and catches on to everything around him. He reads really well, and can add huge numbers in his head like it's nobody's business. He's extremely competitive and loves playing games and trying to do better each time. He's been through a lot and carries the burden really well. He loves making jokes and makes me laugh!!! He's so fun to have around.

Sounds like Jake & Ethan should hang out. Maybe they could work out some of their "struggles" together! (It's kindof becoming a little joke between Jake & I because everytime he comes out of his room I take one look at him and say, "Jake, your shirts on backwards." He sometimes fixes it, and other times doesn't care)

Ryan... It's Tyler Mons. Social networking sites are incredible. My wife and I have been blogging now for 3 years, and I have never stumbled across anyone of my old friends sites. Todd (my Twin) found Angie Weights site and from there I have now opened so many doors to old friends. Feel free to visit my family blog www.monsfamily.blogspot.com

Hey- looks like you have been busy lately! I just wanted to let you know that we are going private on our blog so if you still want to view it send me an email jenandjared02@msn.com. Your boys are darling- but boys are so different than girls- I can see that with mine at a very young age!
