Thursday my parents took us to a little petting zoo where they have a monkey cage that the lady would let us go inside.

Here's the monkey cage they let us go into. Apparently, they usually will climb on you to take the food from your hands, but today they wouldn't come near us. Cecily was so brave, chasing after them and holding her little aplle saying "here monkey". It just kept running away! Darn it, that was the one thing I wanted to do before I left africa--hold a monkey. Maybe one day...

Playing on the little playground they had there

These tiny, adorable monkeys took the fruit right out of my hand. We couldn't go in their cage to try to hold them though.

ONLY in South Africa would you see a sign like this!!! There really is a lot of crime there. This just caught us so off guard and we thought it was kind of funny.

And this is what happens when your almost-2-year-old gets her sleeping totally messed up!!! The poor thing survived for two weeks with naps mostly in cars and struggling to sleep at night. She really did great considering, but we had a lot of these moments too. We actually got this picture because the sign above her reads "unattended children will be sold to the circus"! We were about ready to send her off!

Poor girl. Looks like you had a wonderful time. I really wish I could come to the girls night and hear more. Hope it is fun.
