Friday was our beach day. It was beautiful sunny and warm, so we took advantage of the nice weather. Up until then, it had been nice, but overcast. We wanted to come back with at least a little bit of a tan.

We had lunch at a restaurant that overlooked the beach, it was really nice.
Then for dinner we got to have a braii--a south african barbeque--with the Hautings, a family that my parents had reactivated. They were the sweetest people--hosting the five of us and four missionaries in their teeny tiny home. Cecily loved their teenage boys and played with them most of the time.
Just one of many gorgeous South African sunsets
Awww, the elders
This picture kind of shows their tiny house. They had no room for a dining table, you can see ryan eating his meal as we sat on the couch. We felt so grateful they were willing to have us all over!!!
A real African Braii!
Cecily playing with the boys. I think she was mesmerized by their accents!
Here's the whole Hauting family with my parentsWe found a cameleon in their tree--it was pregnant, and Bro. Hauting called us a few days later and said she had her babies!! We never got a chance to go see the little guys. Fun to hold one in real life though.
