And Ryan's family got one of their favorite latest inside jokes from her birthday--Cec was so excited to go to the "jumpa place" and sqealed the whole way there. But then she kept crying when she'd go down the slides--she cried first becasue she wanted to go by herself, so then I'd let her, and she'd cry more because it was too fast and roughed her up a bit. Total lose lose. So by the end of our playtime, she was asking to leave (not a good sign), and then on the way home said : "Eee mahn it (translation: I don't want it) jumpa place!" I got quite a kick out of it and told the fam what a "success" it was, and they thought it was pretty hilarious too. So now when we don't want/like something, it's "Eee mahn it jumpa place." (Said with a scowl of course!)
I think overall the day really was a success though, she loved her princess (ba-dess) castle cake, princess decor, presents, and most of all, LOVED the happy birthday song. She literally screamed in delight as we sang to her. And that huge smile made it all worth it!

That cake is amazing! Did you make it yourself? Sure looks like you made up for her bad day on the party with the fam. She looks so excited in every picture... She cracks me up!
those pictures of cecily on the table are so cute! i can't believe she's two already!
So I have been waiting to see your prego belly but you NEVER post. You can't do this to your family when we are clear on the other side of this great nation!
Enough of the blog stalking... How are you? JK. You have the cutest little girl. I missed you at Laurie's wedding but it was nice to see you at the shower. Hopefully we will run into each other again sometime.
